Transylvania: Auxiliary transports for underprivileged children

The association is known to us for many years and it regularly receives support by the Korff Foundation for their auxiliary transports, in each case to Easter and Christmas to Heltau. The chairperson of the association, Mrs. Jenny Rasche, resettled with her family to Romania and looks on site after the interests of the destitute. In September, 2007 a new project started in Rusciori. In the mornings from 7.00 to 13.00 o'clock house visits are made for 5 children and in the afternoon from 14.30 to 18.00 o'clock there is the day group for 10 children. The target group: Hardly physically affected children, children with behavioral disorders, children with emotional interferences and mental affected children. Aims of the project: The greatest possible normalisation for the children, participation in the social life, integration in the normal school everyday life and regular school visits, learning of personal abilities and interests as well as recognition and acceptance in the society.
