Starving Children in Germany

In accordance with figures of the child welfare association about three million children in Germany grow up in financial poverty - this is every sixth child. Poverty means for many affected children that they are defect-nourished or lack-nourished for example. Moreover they are accompanied by social distance at many levels. Children who grow up in poverty often do not graduate, because they aren't promoted according to their need, either by their parents nor by the school.

The Children dinner tables perform a small remedy here.

Children finances a warm and healthy dinner table in 45 social facilities all over the country - per year approx. 250,000 meals. The dinner table is embedded in further offers like homework help, cooking courses, sport, occupational preparation or parental work. Dinner tables are supported everywhere where socially undeprivileged children and youngsters are looked after or where they stay regularly.
